We are seeking to fill the following positions:

Marketing/Product Manager 

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for performing a comprehensive marketing and product manager responsibility. This includes day to day activities relating to all products globally, writing short term marketing plans and strategy directions for different products, and providing cross-functional leadership-bridging gaps within the company between different functions, most notably between R&D, Sales and Marketing, and Operations. This position is expected to know and be able to define all marketing needs and producing the marketing tools needed. The marketing/product manager is expected to be the team leader in defining all steps needed from the inception of a product idea to the launch of such product including all steps in between.

Responsibilities & Principal Activities:

• Execute work between different departments including operations, R&D and Sales & marketing to facilitate product development, registration, launching, orders, and movement around the world to help achieve company’s business objectives;
• Develop marketing materials including presentations, collateral materials, direct marketing campaigns, videos, advertising, training tools, packaging and other sales support tools.
• Develop corporate and product key messaging.
• Manage external resources including graphic designers, PR specialists, videographers, photographers, web developers, etc.
• Help define product requirements from development, to production, packaging needs, QCQA/regulatory and launch of the product.
• Complete market analysis – competitive landscape and drawing a differentiated product vision that will deliver unique value based on customer demands.
• Head up market research and maintenance of marketing material.
• Maintain Marketing section of the BRI SharePoint database and MailChimp distribution lists.
• Grow and maintain the Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) library.
• Define the ‘why’, ‘what’, and ‘when’ a certain product is to be developed and launched, i.e. responsible for carrying the product from inception to launch.
• Develop and curate new ideas.
• Make product decisions and serve as the lead resource for the rest of the organization when deep product expertise is required; including support of the organizations to help bring the product to market and working directly with customers, namely marketing, sales and support.

Education / Experience / Qualifications:
• A minimum of a BS in Marketing, Business, Ag. Sciences, or Nutrition is required, with an MBA preferred.
• Experience: 3-7 years in Marketing and product management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Dropbox, Basecamp and other necessary software
• Project management capabilities and experience
• Working knowledge of social media platforms (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn…etc.)
• Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred

Research Associate

Position Summary: 

BRI is currently seeking a research associate to support projects related to new enzyme product development in the animal nutrition area, including development of enzymatic assays. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in protein biochemistry, biophysics, and other related areas. The candidate should have strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to develop solutions to challenging problems. This position reports to the Director of R&D.

Responsibilities & Principal Activities:

• Routinely develop and apply biochemical methods in support of enzyme product development and commercial application support
• Independently design experiments and troubleshoot as needed
• Work as part of a scientific team to implement experimental plans
• Assist with regular assigned laboratory maintenance duties
• Support enzymatic studies with external partners for regulatory and sales purposes
• Communicate results of experiments with colleagues in written technical reports and oral presentation

Education / Experience / Qualifications:

• BS with 5+ years of relevant experience, MS degree with 2+ years of experience, Ph.D. with 0 – 1 years of relevant experience in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or related field. Level of hiring will be based on the candidate’s experience and capabilities
• Experience in protein biochemistry/enzymology, including enzyme kinetics, protein characterization, analytical biochemistry, and enzyme assay development
• Knowledge of and/or experience in assaying enzymes in complex matrices (such as feed, digesta) is highly desirable
• Knowledge and/or experience in microbiology and molecular biology is desirable.
• Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present scientific data and concepts to colleagues and teams
• Local candidates highly preferred.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship.
