Technical Sales Service Manager – Mexico
The Technical Sales Manager will be part of the BRI LATAM & Mexico team. The primary function of this role is to increase the service level of the Technical Service team and accelerate the growth of sales. Operate as a key resource for our empowered and engaged customer focused, technical services organization adhering to BRI principal values. Collaborate, plan, and execute BRI technical services strategy to deliver superior services to ensure long-term customer value and profitability. Align cross-functional Technical Service activities with BRI Mexico & LATAM sales and marketing to achieve short and long-term global strategies. This role will report to the Country Sales Manager – Mexico and with dotted line to Technical Director – LATAM & Mexico. Oversee compliance and adhere to all BRI management, integrity guidelines, and all policies and procedures related to position assignment.
Build a coordinated technical services support plan and achieve current year primary product business plan goals. Achieve the current year product business plan by achieving BRI Territory product sales by a certain date. Continue to develop business relationships with important levels of customer technical and R&D staff to develop competitive insights and leverage these to further develop business opportunities within those customers.
In collaboration with sales management is accountable for accomplishing annual sales plan to achieve specific customer volumes in assigned market for a certain list of top growth opportunities in assigned territories. Fully understand the customer’s needs, business plans and align BRI technical service strategy in the Territory with customer plans to create value. Work cross-functionally to get needed support from BRI team members (e.g., R&D, regional technical service, marketing, customer service, regulatory affairs, etc.). Conduct technical service according to sales and marketing initiatives for growth, as opportunities with targeted customers evolve throughout the year, providing mutual benefits to the customer and BRI. Adjust technical service priorities according to support requested from sales management. Assure that the BRI brand and branded products are always presented in a professional, positive, and sustainable manner by focusing on BRI Programs and Solutions.
Education / Experience / Qualifications:
- Education: PhD Animal Sciences veterinary or nutrition.
- Experience: 7+ years of Technical Service and key account business development in multi-national company promoting animal feed, protein, or health products to livestock customers, feed mills, growers, and integrators, with a deep poultry specie/industry knowledge.
- Language: Fluent in Spanish and English

Works with other BRI colleagues to plan and execute the technical services strategies as aligned with global and regional sales and marketing. Coordinates local promotional activities with sales and marketing to identify, analyze and present BRI solutions that result in a successful commercial relationship with selected or assigned customers. Works with global marketing team, distributors, and partners to plan, prepare, train, and launch products according to agree upon product positioning.
Demonstrates expertise in their own field, serves as a resource to others, shares knowledge and is frequently engaged by others to help solve problems in their area of expertise.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Position entails regional travel (50-75%) including international travel.
